Heather Adams of Well | Awake will lead you in a meditation that will help you set, reset and strengthen your intentions for the New Year! First timers and seasoned sitters will enjoy the open, relaxed space to practice before we hit the dance floor!

DAYBREAKER is an early morning dance movement in 17 cities around the world and growing. We start with a yoga + fitness experience and then dance with reckless abandon for two hours before work. You never know where our next location will be and what surprises are in store. We don’t need alcohol. We don’t need to pretend to be someone else. We come as we are to sweat, dance and connect with ourselves and each other. See you on the dance floor.

A Meditation for Dealing With Tough Times

Join WELL|AWAKE for a casual group meditation, back again at the lovely TRIBE Fitness studio. We'll sit for a 25 minute guided meditation and save space to discuss and learn before and after class. There aren't any levels or pre-requisites. You don't have to be dressed a certain way or in the perfect mood. We're keeping it simple; just join in and observe what happens.

A Meditation For the Tough Times addresses those experiences and realities in life that we find it hard to be positive about, when finding the bright side just doesn't seem possible. Dealing with difficult truths is part of life (UGH!!) but how can we weather these sometimes painful times with more grace and even just a little more ease? We'll raise awareness around our reactions to tough moments and see if there's anything we can do to get a little bit of relief...or at least a different perspective.

The class fee is $20 and half of the proceeds will go to Stolen Youth, a charity that fights sex trafficking. TRIBE Fitness has included this class as part of a series they are creating to raise funding.

A Stress-Relief Meditation says it all. It's time you breathed a little deeper, released some tension and relaxed your neck muscles.  Having a ton on your plate doesn't mean you have to suffer with the side effects of chronic stress. It's possible to even enjoy a busy life! We'll explore ways to create more space in our day and truly unwind using mindfulness techniques, meditation and physical movement.

A Spring Meditation and Soundbath w/ Kate Ryan

Join WELL|AWAKE for a casual group meditation! This week we gather at WeWork- Holyoke in beautiful Pioneer Square. We'll sit for a 10 minute guided meditation and then a 30 minute soundbath  (laying down) and save space to chat before and after class. There aren't any levels or pre-requisites. You don't have to be dressed a certain way or in the perfect mood. We're keeping it simple; just join in and observe what happens.


A Spring Meditation and Soundbath with the lovely Kate Ryan is all about the renewal and rejuvenation that comes with the Spring Season! Intriguing possibilities and beckoning opportunities are around every corner. Are you calibrated to see, accept and maybe even seize them? As with nature, so within: It's time to grow! We'll start our night with a short meditation centered around opening up, like a spring flower, to the world around us and then we'll really turn things up a few notches with a soundbath! Kate will immerse us in a bath of Tibetan bowls, flute and an assortment of sound-scape instruments to truly wash away the cold and the old and make space for the bright and the new!!

A Meditation For Smarter Startups

This is not a WELL|AWAKE event but we're happy to rep James Brown's exciting event. Registration is require for this one, get tickets HERE!

Startups are a rush. Fueled by vision, ambition, adrenaline and caffeine. It’s a Go!Go!Go! culture that can often become a grind. And that’s one of the biggest reasons why way too many startups hit a wall and fail. But it doesn’t have to be that way.

Join tech investor (and self-described red-pill pusher) Martin Tobias and master meditation teacher James Brown for a workshop that will disrupt your ideas about what meditation is, what it’s for and how it can fit seamlessly into your busy, driven life.

This will be an immersive, interactive workshop that will challenge and expand your ideas about the nature of the mind, the value of effort, and send you home with a couple of meditation techniques that will help you better allow your mind, and life, to flow. No previous meditation experience required, and if you’re already an expert we promise you’ll learn something new.

We won’t be doing any yoga or chanting so you don’t need to wear anything special. For those inspired to learn Vedic Meditation there will be a short, flexible master clas offered over the coming 4 days. The course consists of four 90-minute sessions of instruction, taken over 4, 3 or 2 days. which means you can start learning on Thursday, Friday or Saturday and by Sunday afternoon you’ll graduate a self-sufficient meditator with a lifetime of follow-up support. Full details about the course will be provided at the workshop.

We'll sit for a 25 minute guided meditation and save space to chat before and after class. There aren't any levels or pre-requisites. You don't have to be dressed a certain way or in the perfect mood. We're keeping it simple; just join in and observe what happens.

Mindfulness Meditation will turn an old notion on its head: Meditation isn't silencing your mind! It's about increasing awareness. Awareness of your breathing, your world, your physical body, your thoughts. We observe, with as little judgment as possible, without trying to find reasons why, solutions for or explanations of. We just observe. Easier said than done? Yes. Worth every second? Absolutely.
